Color Trend for Spring / Summer 2014
Yellow is a color that adds a touch of warmth and ray of smile-inducing light to gloomy and moody rainy days. A perfect color to incorporate into your rainy day spring outfits but would also ease in effortlessly into your summer wardrobe. Seen on Spring / Summer 2014 runway shows, this color trend has been spotted on celebrities, editors and top bloggers, making this color a great addition to your Spring / Summer wardrobe. Here are few of my favorite yellow based looks from the Spring / Summer 2014 shows.
From gaze worthy sculptural to easy breezy effortless silhouettes, the yellow based looks on spring / summer 2014 runway were clean and modern with eye catching details such as perforations, peplums, laser cut-outs, embellishments, floral appliqués, sheer inserts, pleats, folds, flowy layers etc. Nautical stripes looked fresh and updated with subtle florals, lace, perforations and cut-outs details on them. Yellows pairs so effortlessly with black and whites, grays, metallic pastels, pastel blues, orchids and neutrals. Touch of reds and greens make great accent colors. What are your favorite yellow looks from the spring / summer 2014 shows? Do you like wearing yellows? How would you style an yellow based outfit?
