Lace is a major trend for this Spring / Summer 2011. Lace is back in a lighter, brighter and fresher way, making it perfect for the warmer months ahead. Colors for the lace, ranged from brights and neutrals, to metallic and whites. Details from needlepoint to mash-up of sequins with plasticized lace were seen on the runway. Neon colored accessories, obi belts, sequins, flower print accessories were used by designers to lend an overall  Asian, old western or punk appeal to their collection.
