Speaking of flame colors, have you seen Prabal Gurung’s new uniform designs for the Sephora’s cast with red accents? The beauty brand that hasn’t updated it’s cast costume since 2001, decided to give their uniforms a new creative yet functional spin and reached out to designer Prabal Gurung to design their new cast uniforms for them. Prabal Gurung’s designs reveal two choices for women that include: a black shift dress that can also be worn as a tunic paired with black trousers or a very chic fitted black trouser suit with red piping-like detail on the jacket. For men, it’s black shirt, black trousers and a black sweater with red color-block detail on the shoulders and arms. The tunic for women also has a similar red color-block panel detail that runs along the shoulders and arms, and underneath a pleated back as a peekaboo detail (see pic below). I love the shift dress and I think the back pleat is a very thoughtful detail that adds a lot of comfort, ease and flexibility while also appealing to our visual senses.
