Gorgeous Fall Pieces From Mint Collab: Altuzarra For Target collection

According to a post on nymag.com, the designer was inspired by globe trotting and collector-minded women in mind and chose to incorporate design details from all over the world –  Swiss dotting, French tailoring, Romanian-style shirts with generous sleeves, and bird prints inspired by Japanese lacquered screens.

There are many sensual and wild elements in the collection, such as python prints and killer heels. Subtle details such as a white button that bears the designer name in gold, interesting cuts and desginer-worthy details are supposed to give the collection’s pieces a rich, expensive and luxurious feel, reminiscent of high-end designer goods without the sticker shock.

The collection draws ideas from his own line but also creates something that feels unique to this collection. Some of my favorites so far are: trench coats in military green / black jacquard, flounce skirts, ankle strap shoes, over the knee boots and blazers in python print / ruby red velvet.

This beautiful limited-edition collection of women’s ready-to-wear and accessories will hit stores on September 14, and will be available in Target stores and online at Target.com. Are you excited? What do you think about this collection? What are your favorites from the collection?
