60's Style Inspiration With Fall Trend: Shift to mod
Shift to something mod for this fall. Fall 2014 runways were filled with a plethora of 60s inspired looks and details: from 60s silhouettes, pop art, collars and mock-turtle necks to cat eye frames, bouffant hair and twiggy inspired lashes. Hope your find your 60s inspired styling inspiration here to adopt this Fall with this post on Fall Trend: Shift To Mod. Here are some of my favorites from the fall shows and editorials –
Designers experimented with 60s theme by mixing in various different elements and details from other themes such as military, biker, wild life, boho, folk, western etc. to infuse a crispy fresh allure to it. This fall with see a shift to mod incorporating dark-night florals, striking digital prints, enchanting lace, rebelious leather, dramatic blocking, bewitching ruffles and so on. My favorite collections were from Gucci, Valentino, Saint Laurent, DSquared2, Dolce & Gabbana, Christopher Kane, Emilio Pucci and Erdem. What were you favorites and why? Do you like the Mod look for this Fall? What do you think of this Fall Trend? Please share your views and comments.
P.S. – I would love it if you could check out my post for LocalLux and share your thoughts on it 🙂
