Are you ready for some warm sunshine coming your way? Spring Forward means more sunshiny days ahead. We not only get to switch our clocks forward but also cast away all our heavy winter coats, clean out our closets, fill them up with lighter summery clothes and take a look at the brighter side of everything. When I think of sunshine, the first color that comes to my mind is yellow, a beautiful upbeat color that uplifts out spirit and celebrates the beauty of spring perfectly. Yellow is a cheery, youthful and optimistic color that’s associated with the color of the sun, laughter and happiness (smiley faces are yellow for a reason). Here are a few pictures for inspiration to add more yellow to your Spring – Summer wardrobe.
From candy colored to neon, a touch of yellow is always going to brighten up your wardrobe, ensemble and your spring / summer days. Styles inspired from 20s and 50s to sporty and futuristic were seen on the runway. You can also go for prints (floral or automobile inspired), dip dyed effects, fringes, cut-outs, lace, 3D appliques, shimmer, metallics, peplums or color-blocking. If you want to keep it subtle, add it in the form of accessories like you see in the Dsquared2 campaign pictures. Do you love this color? Are you inspired enough to add yellow to your wardrobe? Let me know what you think. Have a lovely sunflowery day!
