Sit down on your heels\u00a0and bend your body forward to the floor, stretching your arms out in front of you or next to you (pointing to the back as seen in the above picture \u00a0# 1). Take a few slow deep breaths.<\/span> <span style=\"color: #333333; font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #008000; font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica;\">Up The Wall &#8211;<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333; font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica;\">Lie with your back on the floor and legs raised up against the wall (see picture # 2). Take a few slow deep breaths.<\/span> <span style=\"color: #333333; font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #008000; font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica;\">Twist And Side &#8211;<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333; font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica;\">Lie down on your back with arms stretched to the sides. Twist your leg to the left\u00a0side (see above pic #3) and take slow deep breaths. Switch to the right side and take slow deep\u00a0breaths again.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #008000; font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica;\">Rock And Hug\u00a0&#8211;<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333; font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica;\">Lie down on your back, bring your knees up like you do during a crunches and hug gently taking a few slow deep breaths. See pic #4 in the above picture.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #008000; font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica;\">Sole-mates Together &#8211;<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333; font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica;\">Lie with back on the floor and bring the soles of your feet together. Take a few slow deep breaths. See pic #5 in above picture.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #008000; font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica;\">Palming &#8211;<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333; font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica;\">This is part of eye yoga but I think it is great for inducing sleep. Rub your hands together to warm it up and cover your eyes with your palms for about 5 minutes while applying gentle pressure on your eyes.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14pt; color: #333333;\">Here is a video with more moves to incorporate into your night time yoga routine &#8211;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"psvn-embed\" src=\"http:\/\/www.popsugar.com\/psvn\/embed?video=25768095&amp;width=728&amp;height=410\" width=\"728\" height=\"410\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14pt; color: #333333;\">Overall, these poses help relieve built-up tension in our bodies, relax our\u00a0minds and make us\u00a0feel better. The best part is that these poses can be done on your bed (just make sure you don&#8217;t fall off the bed). You can also try the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pinterest.com\/pin\/111886371965511948\/\" target=\"_blank\">cat pose<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pinterest.com\/pin\/108508672243811786\/\" target=\"_blank\">puppy pose<\/a>. Remember to concentrate on your poses and breathing so your mind doesn&#8217;t get distracted. You can switch off or turn down the lights for the last three poses which might help generate <a href=\"http:\/\/umm.edu\/health\/medical\/altmed\/supplement\/melatonin\" target=\"_blank\">melatonin<\/a> (sleep hormone) to help you fall asleep faster.
