Colors ruled at the Emmy Awards 2011 and the color that lit up the red carpet? Red!! \u00a0Red was the favorite color adopted by many stars and this beautiful fiery color did make a bold statement on the red carpet and was without a doubt the color of the evening. Reds were clearly the favorites among the stars, followed by blacks and blues. \u00a0I loved almost all the red gowns and my favorites would be Kate Winslet’s sheath-like Elie Saab gown, Sofia Vergara’s orange-red Vera Wang mermaid gown with ruche detail and Nina Dobrev’s strapless Donna Karan mermaid gown with layered hemline. Also, I loved Kerri Washington’s Zahir Murad shimmering gown, Claire Danes’s black & blue shimmering Oscar de la Renta gown and Julie Brown’s shimmering black Oscar de le Renta gown.
