Did you like Mary Katrantzou’s Spring 2012 collection? I absolutely loved the collection and I couldn’t wait to write about it. Mary Katrantzou’s theme of “nature vs nurture” was one-of-a-kind collection featuring elements from our beautiful mother-nature and modern technology, a beautiful fusion of handmade and manmade. Based on the concept of “opposites attract”, the complex digital prints from this beautiful collection featured breathtaking natural elements from our land, sea and sky such as coral reef and blooming flowers to elements from our modern technology such as tin cans and car parts. Many of these prints had a sort of “distorted beyond recognition” feel and this combined with a 3D like effect and repetitive elements added additional dose of curiosity and complexity to this amazing collection. If you are wondering how someone can bring all these conflicting elements together and manage to make it all work then you have to see this collection.<\/span><\/p>\n
