The simplicity, lightness and flow comes from heavy use of whites, airy lightweight fabrics with cut-outs or perforations and flowy yet simple silhouettes. Inbuilt construction details such as pleats or pockets are kept clean and simple without adding too much bulk to these looks. The heavy use of eyelets or perforations, rope details etc. add cool and casual textures for an overall effect that ranges from very lady-like to earthy with a touch of masculine feel. There is definitely a heavy mix of lady-like elements with moderate splashes of tough, masculine and earthy elements here. The toughness comes from grungy dip dye or tie dye details, ripped effects (such as on boyfriend jeans), folded hems and safari inspired khaki green colors or pieces.
