Did you love the safety pin and zipper pull earrings that were sported on Jason Wu’s Spring 2012 runway? \u00a0If you didn’t then you have a chance to see them here. They really caught my attention along with the gorgeous feather detail hair and embellished collars. Designed by LA based jewelry designer Tom Binns for Jason Wu’s Spring presentation, the earrings in the collection had dangling tassel like chains embellished with pearls, rhinestones, safety pins and zipper pulls. The designer describes his designs as fine jewelry infused with a modern attitude. It definitely has a youthful and tough street chic vibe to it but still ladylike at the same time. I<\/span> have a video below that shows you how to make these earrings. You can follow the instructions and put your own twist to it by adding rhinestone chains, pearls, safety pins and zipper pulls. I made them this week following the below youtube video and they turned out pretty well. If I can do it then anyone can because I am not a jewelry designer and working with metals is not in my area of work.
