Spots and dots are in trend for fall and they have such a fun, playful and mysterious quality that can draw any wearer into spotlight. With the right material mix and embellishment, the glamor and luxury quotient of spots can be played up too. Spots are extremely versatile and so easy to play with to achieve various different looks.  For example, playing with different size polka dots and pops of color can bring out the fun and playful  factor in spot filled pieces, while playing with level of transparencies, certain materials such as leather or symmetry can add a mysterious sexy appeal. A touch of luxe textures, materials and embellishments can add bouts of glamour to the spot filled pieces. Overall, playing with different colors,  dot sizes, materials, textures,  shapes, symmetry and sheerness can put an interesting twist on this old favorite rendering it a modern appeal.

I absolutely love the removal bow tie blouse in the above video, a great basic way to bring the polka dots trend to your fall wardrobe. I think that polka dots look best when the silhouette and details are clean and simple.
