Sleek in Pencil Skirts

Pencil skirts add a perfectly polished, undeniably elegant and ultra feminine vibe to any look making it a go-to piece for women who love lady-like looks. Here are some of my favorite looks from the Fall 2013 runway shows.

 ALTUZARRA, JEN KAO

Pattern lovers can go for plaids, checks, polka dots, animal prints, stripes, hearts or dark florals. Leather, darker lace, tweed, wool or velvet look perfect for the fall season. Paired with sweater they look effortlessly chic and cozy. Slits, embellishments, rough textures, metallic effect, pattern play and shorter lengths can add interesting details to the pieces. What are your favorite pencil skirt looks from the Fall 2013 shows? How would you style your pencil skirts?

WOW! The prints and texture of these are fabulous. Pencil skirts have come along way! These are jazzy! Not just your regular solid boring colors. I can’t wait to see these go mainstream. I’m IN on this trend! HAHAHA

I adore the ladylike polish of a good pencil skirt! It’s the perfect piece to build around for a day to evening look. I’m glad to see it back for fall with so many fabulous color, print and texture options as well. I personally love pairing mine with blouses or fitted sweaters.

you are so right. the pencil skirt is ultra feminine, utterly chic and can be so alluring all at the same time. playing with fabrics is so much fun and you can take a simple form and turn it into a statement. plus it can take you everywhere!

Hmm it looks like your blog ate my first comment
(it was super long) so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I submitted and say, I’m
thoroughly enjoying your blog. I as well am an aspiring blog
writer but I’m still new to the whole thing.
Do you have any recommendations for beginner blog writers?
    I’d definitely appreciate it.
