Mint Feature: Farfetch’s Boutique Finder Widget

A widget that finds your favorite Boutiques around the world.

Are you looking for those perfect boutiques that carry all of your favorite styles and brands? Look no further! Farfetch has a cool new Mint Feature: Boutique Finder widget that acts like a stylish match-maker, helping shoppers find boutiques around the world that stock their most favorite styles and brands.

How does the widget work? The nifty widget works by trying to find out who you are style wise and your brand preferences. It starts by prompting you to select your gender followed by a look that best describes you, product category you are looking for and your favorite brands. Based on your selections, the widget recommends a boutique that stores all of your favorite styles and brands along with a brief description of the store and its location. You can email the results to yourself or choose to shop the collection right away. There are also options to go back and change your selection or start the search all over again.

My search for Vintage Chic / Bags and Street Luxe / Catwalk pieces resulted in this and this (not bad, right?). The results narrow down to finding the boutiques that carry the styles and brands you are looking for but it doesn’t narrow down to products within the boutiques that highlight your choices, but this is a pretty good start. I personally love it. What do you think of the widget?  Do you like it? What additional features would you like the widget to include? And, who are you style wise? Please leave your views and comments below. 🙂
