I love pastels. These picture boards really give me some ideas. Love the pinks & blues mixed with black. Also love their incorporation with florals. So pretty! Fabulous post! Happy Easter to you 😀

Love all these outfits…so pretty and feminine!

It’s hard to make pastels not look feminine. Even with all the “work in progress” tape design on Chris Kane show, the pastels looked so feminine..not rough or undone at all. 🙂

This shoes how gorgeous pastels can be when done in a great fabric or print – love your picks!

Agree. I’m not into all pastels but when done right, it can look amazing. It’s all in the design, prints, fabric and the right color tones. 🙂

Love these groupings especially the feminine flow. I tend to associate Spring with pastels as well. I think it has something to do with how fresh and soft they can be which is what the season is about to me. I like to pair my pastels with neutrals to avoid looking like an Easter egg 😉

I know what you mean by easter egg look. Pastels can look weird if paired with each other. I loved it paired with neutrals, neons or florals.

I love love love the pastel looks but the sheer?.. Im over this trend already and want it to go away! Haha. I always feel like I have to wear a tank underneath sheer blouses and where I live it is HOT. Everyday. Too impractical for me!

    • April 10, 2013 at 11:26 pm

I don’t think sheer is ever going to go away. But again, there are so many trends out there every season and you do get a chance to avoid the trends you don’t like. I’m glad there is variety there. 🙂
