Fall 2014 runways were filled with a plethora of 60s inspired looks and details: from 60s silhouettes, pop art, collars and mock-turtle necks to cat eye frames, bouffant hair and twiggy inspired lashes. Designers experimented with 60s theme by mixing in various different elements and details from other themes such as military, biker, wild life, boho, folk, western etc. to infuse a crispy fresh allure to it. This fall with see a shift to mod incorporating dark-night florals, striking digital prints, enchanting lace, rebelious leather, dramatic blocking, bewitching ruffles and so on. My favorite collections were from Gucci, Valentino, Saint Laurent, DSquared2, Dolce & Gabbana, Christopher Kane, Emilio Pucci and Erdem.     Amazing experiment from the designers, my favorite dsquared2 and gucci it’s elegant and gorgeous in style.

    My favorite is Saint Laurent! It’s mod but with an up to date feel. Very classy!

    ahhhh i love mod! you have no idea how much!
    i am not sure if it is because it goes really well with a petit and tiny frame like mine, or because of how awesome the era that generated it was. one thing i know for sure is that when i go on a liten-to-beatles-all-day fest that is how i end up dressing 🙂
