I have a video below that shows you how to make these earrings. You can follow the instructions and put your own twist to it by adding rhinestone chains, pearls, safety pins and zipper pulls. I made them this week following the below youtube video and they turned out pretty well. If I can do it then anyone can because I am not a jewelry designer and working with metals is not in my area of work. If you want step by step written instructions then click here. These instructions are just to give you a rough idea on how to make these earrings, you can always change the design to suit your creative needs. You could even paint the safety pins neon or any trendy color.
Here is my version of Jason Wu’s earrings based on all the inspiration I drew from the runway pictures. I added some gold safety pins for some color and the chains are thicker than the ones seen on the runway. I feel like an amateur metal bender after making these. Let me know what you think of them.
